Patrick's CD is out... at last
It took him some time but after three decades of showmanship, musician Patrick Labrosse has finally put out his first CD.
Patrick, 54, said: “I kept composing songs and promising myself that I would come up with a CD but never got around to doing it until now.”
The ten-track CD, Monn Foupanmal with all songs composed by Patrick, covers various topics such as the beauty of Seychelles as well as a call for social harmony.
Patrick, who plays rhythm guitar and keyboards, hopes it will do better than his previous work when he produced two cassettes of music but failed to get them on the radio because of an issue over lyrics.
Patrick has managed the Marine Charter for 25 years. For his new venture, he was joined by Seychelles veteran Cyril Vital on guitar, John Vital on accordion, Nabby Jules, drums, and Peter Jules, keyboard and bass. Backing vocals are by Angelique Allisop, Peter Jules and John Vital.
