Will our President deliver us the unity Seychelles still desperately needs?

We heard optimistic words about the future of Seychelles from President Wavel Ramkalawan in his State of the Nation Address for 2024, but will these hopes be fulfilled?

He talked about the challenges the Government faced involving the TRNUC and unity, and I urge him to meet these challenges head-on. We need results. Things are desperate.

I am appreciative that he mentioned unity several times, for this cause is dear to my heart.

I have been campaigning for years to build a harmonious Seychelles after we all suffered decades of division and it is time we achieved that serenity.

I am gauging the reaction to the President’s Address from other voices in Seychelles and will deliver my own response shortly. Watch this space.
