Former Tourism Minister launches biography in Bali

A biography about former Tourism Minister Alain St.Ange has been published.
Mr St.Ange was at the launch in Bali, Indonesia, where he presented government and industry dignitaries with copies of the book at the WTN Tourism summit.
The author of the biography, titled Alain St.Ange – A Life in Tourism, is tourism expert Pascal Viroleau of Reunion, who has worked in the industry with Mr St.Ange; the editor is Kanis Dursin of Jakarta.
Mr St.Ange was head of the Seychelles Tourism Board before being appointed Minister responsible for Tourism & Culture and later Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports & Marine of Seychelles.
He said: “I am proud that my work in tourism was recognised as successful years of my life.”
Mr St.Ange, who was one of the candidates in the 2020 Seychelles presidential elections, is today a respected tourism consultant, as well as being popular on the speakers’ circuit for tourism, sustainable tourism development and aviation.
