Air Seychelles 'committed to being best' in Indian Ocean
Air Seychelles is “pushing the boundaries” in excellence, according to its chairman.
The Seychelles-based airline took four top titles at the 2016 World Travel Awards, including Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline for the second year running.
At a ceremony in Zanzibar, Air Seychelles was also presented with Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline awards in Business Class, Economy Class and Cabin Crew.
Joel Morgan, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Transport and chairman of Air Seychelles, said: “Winning four highly-prized accolades at this year’s World Travel Awards, and beating our record of three in 2015, is an incredible achievement for Air Seychelles that demonstrates its commitment to being the best airline in the region.
“This accomplishment caps off a period of great growth at Air Seychelles that has seen it improve many aspects of the travel experience, on both its international flights to Mahé and domestic island-hopping services.”
Mr Morgan went on: “Air Seychelles continues to push the boundaries of what can be achieved by a boutique airline and by doing so, it is making a valuable contribution to our tourism-based economy.”
